Earlier this month Anton Rosenfeld led an online workshop for the Virtual Dragon Café looking at multicultural food production in the UK. We had a presentation with questions and also heard recordings of various growers telling their stories about food growing in their home countries and when they came to the UK.
You can read more about the project here and on the same page there are some excellent resources too including growing cards and cooking demonstrations (here is a direct link for those).
The oral histories were fascinating and really brought the growing experience alive. You can listen to them on this page which includes an interactive map to take you on a journey around the world.

it.s great to garden till you move through a bad patch, then it all dies,s and is upsetting.my lovely avocado plant died and I had got it to 3 foot tall. depression doesn’t just kill humans. I was particularly fond of it because it came from an avocado I had bought.nice picture.
