Me, My Brain and I, this Monday 12 – 8.30 pm at The Dragon Café. Healing Day: A retreat into the Dragon’s Den
This Monday we highlight the importance of self-care in order to support our precious brain with a healthy body and a strong mind. Jenny Taylor will deliver a second Kundalini Yoga workshop at 2 pm followed by our first (out of five) sessions of Mindfulness in Movement: Body In Mind Training by Tamara Russell at 5 pm.
You can stimulate your brain with Good Moves led by Ian Grant at the slightly earlier time of 4 pm, or shake your body in rhythm with Ariella & Renzo’s Dance-Works, also at 4 pm.
At 6.30 pm we welcome artist Robyn Cooper who will share her personal experience with mental illness in the hope to encourage others with a similar struggle. She will present her short movie “But, sometimes…” exploring anxiety and the difficulty in seeking help. Finally, we finish the day by indulging our senses with a soothing Gong Bath at 7.15 pm.
